Person-Centered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing Integrated CareWhether you need help with problem-solving, getting through life’s hardships, building connections, or just want someone to listen without judgment, I’m here for you.
My therapeutic style involves integrating multiple modalities in order to best serve my clients. Doing so allows me to respect and accommodate intersectional identities, past experiences, and personal beliefs in a way that a “one modality fits all” approach does not.
The main modalities I work to integrate into care include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I take a harm reduction approach in therapy, integrating feminist theories and trauma-informed care in my practice.
My goal is to provide clients with an accepting space where they feel comfortable and able to explore their authentic selves. I believe in creating therapeutic goals collaboratively with my clients, as they are the true experts when it comes to their life experiences. Through providing validation and support, I hope to help people feel better about themselves and reach their goals.
Who I Support I believe that therapy should be available to any person who needs or wants it, which is why I am proud to be part of a community that prioritizes compassion, support, and collective well-being for all, including populations which have historically been underserved.
I have great respect for diversity and unique life experiences. I have worked with a variety of clients including members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, BIPOC, seniors, teens, those with physical and intellectual disabilities, religious minorities, and more. No problem is too big or too small for us to handle together in therapy.
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and get to know me a bit! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Welcome to a grounded, collaborative space to explore yourself and your relationships in a deeper, more meaningful way! Rooted in cultural humility and trauma-informed care, my work is guided by an intersectional lens and a respect for the complexities of identity. I show up in my sessions with clarity, honesty, humour, and an appreciation for nuance. Healing looks different for everyone, and your lived experience leads the way!
People often come to me when they’re feeling stuck in cycles of self-criticism, navigating relationship strain, experiencing anxiety or emotional overwhelm, or trying to make sense of identity, culture, or life transitions. Others arrive because they’re carrying too much on their own and need a place where they don’t have to perform or shrink themselves. Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll work together at a pace that feels manageable and aligned with your goals.
My practice integrates evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting and person-centered principles. I’m interested in what actually helps you move toward a life that feels more workable, not in imposing a rigid therapeutic agenda. Sessions often involve developing awareness of your internal experiences, strengthening emotional regulation skills, clarifying values, and understanding how past and present experiences influence how you show up today.
I also work with partners and couples, including queer, trans, and non-traditional relationships. When working with partners, I focus on communication, conflict patterns, emotional attunement, boundaries, and rebuilding connection. I draw from the Gottman Method and EFT-informed approaches to help partners understand one another more deeply and interrupt unhelpful cycles. My aim is to support relationships in becoming more responsive, compassionate, and intentional; not “perfect”.
I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of identities and neurotypes. My clinical work is informed by an awareness of power, culture, and the systemic factors that shape our lives. You can expect a space that is direct, calm, and grounded; one where your experiences are taken seriously and where we collaborate on meaningful, realistic change.
If my approach resonates with you, please reach out- I’d be glad to work with you!

BIPOC LGBTQ2S+ Affirming Insight-Driven Person-Centred Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)There are very few spaces where we can safely explore our emotions and learn about the different stories we tell ourselves about our lives. Through my work prioritizing non-judgment and compassion, I hope to make therapy one of those spaces for you.
As a queer and transgender therapist of colour who has navigated their own mental health challenges, I know how vulnerable therapy can be. You don’t want to spend your session time educating your therapist about non-monogamy, or code-switching to make your queerness ‘palatable’ or ‘less complicated.’
You want to feel seen and understood — as a whole human being.
I specialize in work around perfectionism, burnout, complex family and friendship dynamics, value identification, gender and sexuality exploration, ethnicity and race, ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, anxiety, and trauma.
My approach differs from person to person because I value collaboration and meeting you where you are. While I am typically not a big fan of labels, I would label my style person-centred, utilizing a combination of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and parts work. Harm reduction and liberation psychotherapy also feature prominently in my approach.
Let’s co-create a safe and brave space together! If any of the above resonates with you, and you are looking for individual virtual therapy, please do not hesitate to email me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We can use that time to learn more about each other and determine whether we are a good match.

Inclusive | Trauma-Informed | Neurodivergent-Affirming | Strength-Based Support Supporting you in becoming your most authentic self with compassion, curiosity, and care. 💛🌿 I’m so glad you’re here. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and deeply present. In our sessions, you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are, no pressure, no judgment, just space to breathe, reflect, and begin again. Who I Support I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. With a longstanding career in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients across a broad spectrum of identities, cultures, abilities, and challenges. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, neurodivergence, sexual health, or simply seeking a space to feel understood, you are welcome here. My practice is inclusive, 2SLGBTQI+ affirming, body-positive, and neurodivergent-friendly. I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and disability-aware lens to my work. My Approach My work is grounded in compassion, intuition, and lived experience. I draw from evidence-based and client-centred modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, attachment-based practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, guided imagery, and trauma-informed care. I also integrate elements of somatic awareness and psychoeducation to support regulation, self-understanding, and lasting change. Together, we’ll gently process emotional pain and trauma, uncover strengths, and move toward clarity, self-trust, and meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, identity, and pace. Lived Experience Having worked in the mental health field for years and navigated systems not built to understand me fully, I know what it’s like to carry parts of yourself the world hasn’t always welcomed. These experiences have profoundly shaped the way I hold space: with deep empathy, humility, and respect for the whole of you. I’m also a nature lover and often find grounding through time outdoors and connection with animals. Whether it’s a quiet walk in the woods or goat yoga in a sunlit field, I believe in the healing power of presence, movement, and playful moments. A Space to Begin Again You don’t need to have it all figured out. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome, especially the ones that have felt invisible or not enough. If you’re ready to explore what’s been holding you back and step into a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and authentically yours, I’d be honoured to walk beside you on that journey. 💫
